• After Sydney, Melbourne is felt to be humanistic. When I went out from the hotel, Le Meridian, to walk around. It was not far from the hotel but I lost. And then an elderly man who wore an arm band of volunteer, approached and talked to me "May I help you?" And he guided me to the street of the hotel. Actually same thing happened again. Sightseeing tour starts a sightseeing center. After the tour, I was walking at a loss, a man talked to me "May I help you?" It was same volunteer person by chance. I was very surprised. And I felt it is a town warm to human.

• Another hospitality came from green and the city is called garden city. It has plenty of gardens and especially most of them are large. To maintain green is to spend time and efforts, and when we look at every garden we feel every garden is carefully maintaind. One more thing attracted me is an expression of gardens. One independant garden and the other consist of Gardens as a block.

• I felt a different feeling about bus sightseeing tour. Usually Japanese bus tour stops at every sightseeing spot and we go out from the bus to see the spot. But this tour stopped very little and a guide talked a lot always in a bus. Even famous St. Patrik's Cathedral was not an exceptional. I felt a little bit strange.

Queen Victoria Gardens	Huge Fitzroy Gardens. This building is a conservatory in the garden.
Ordinary conservatory but many tropical flowers inside with warm sunshine.

Royal Botanic Gardens are also huge 40 hectare. Big and beautiful green park.
Ponds and green are in harmony. Made in 19th century. English style gardens.			Shrine of remembrance

This area locates in the King's Domain, one of big gardens. Looking at City in the distance.
